Spend 4 days 3 nights far into the Amazon in a jungle lodge on the wildlife reserve Cuyabeno. All the days on the reserve are filled with an array of rainforest activities and tours. Each activity is designed in a way that you experience the flora and fauna of the  jungle, providing you unique perspective of the reserve. Here you will encounter exotic jungle animals from the comfort of a lodge.

• Take a bus (trip the night before the tour - 8 hours) to Lago Agrio. Transportation to Lago Agrio is not included. Then you will take private land transportation from Lago Agrio to El Puente. Eat lunch at the Cuyabeno river entrance. 

• Take a canoe trip down the Cuyabeno River and observe the unique lowland amazon ecosystem. 

• Visit the Laguna Grande to swim and enjoy the sunset.

• Eat dinner and afterwards enjoy a boat ride to see Caiman and other nocturnal creatures.

• Breakfast is served at the lodge. 

• Take a boat to the other side on the lake to explore the primary forest and wetlands. Observe the flora and fauna while learning about medicinal plants.

• Return to the lodge for a late lunch and rest. 

• After the afternoon break take a canoe to the big lagoon to observe the colorful sunset. If conditions permit, you  may be able to see pink dolphins.

• Return to the lodge and have a late dinner.

• Wake up early for birdwatching on the lagoon.

• Breakfast is served at the lodge. 

• Visit the community Siona Tarapuy where the naturalist guide will explain the culture and traditions of native people. Enjoy traditional snacks such as plantain and yuca.

• The tour eats lunch mid-day and then returns to the lodge on the canoe while also observing the wildlife from the river.

• Return to the lodge for a short break and return to the big lagoon to observe the sunset and swim.

• Eat dinner at the lodge.

• The tour will then go for a night hike through the primary forest. 

• Wake up to a delicious breakfast at the lodge and take in the remaining views of the lagoon

• The tour will then navigate the Cuyabeno river back to El Puente.

• Then you will transfer to Lago Agrio, where the tour will end
